CANNABIS worth about £14,000 has been seized by police after a vehicle was stopped on the A1.
Roads policing officers were joined by colleagues from East Lothian Community Action Team (ELCAT) in stopping a vehicle travelling on the main road near Haddington on Saturday evening.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Upon stopping the vehicle and searching it, officers recovered two kilogrammes of cannabis with an estimated value of around £14,000.
“A 30-year-old male was arrested and interviewed by officers before being charged with Misuse of Drugs Act offences and released to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.”
