A MAN caught shoplifting “in front of police officers” has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
East Lothian Community Action Team (ELCAT) officers and community colleagues traced and reported a male for four shoplifting offences and an assault on a staff member at a store in Port Seton.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “The male was caught after shoplifting in front of officers.
“The stolen property was recovered. The male has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
