A 14-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged with a number of offences in the centre of Prestonpans.
Police carried out visibility patrols after “a number of reports” regarding youths causing anti-social behaviour in and around the town’s High Street were passed on to them.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Through investigation, a 14-year-old male has been identified as being responsible for a number of these incidents.
“Over the weekend, the youth has been charged with a number of offences and has been reported to the Police Scotland Youth Justice Officer.
“If you are experiencing anti-social behaviour in your area, please contact 101 to report.”
