THIS week’s snow might have caused several services to either be disrupted or suspended across East Lothian but is has also brought out the inner child in many.

While some have been building snowmen, sledging, making snow angels or having snowball fights, some have taken it one step further.

Three Musselburgh residents took enjoying the snow to a whole new level and built what they are calling a ‘bigloo’, or a big igloo to the rest of us.

Kyle Robbins sent in this image (below) of the igloo built by him and two others in Clayknowes Avenue.

The intention was to build an igloo for the children in the street to play with and enjoy.

But what ended up being created was an ice man cave with spades and buckets all being used in the process.

There has also been an igloo spotted in the Nungate area of Haddington, it is not known who built it.

If you have built an igloo, snowman or other interesting snow sculpture this week then let us see them! Send us your pictures here.
