A major road through North Berwick will be closed for a month
THE main route for vehicles travelling west from North Berwick High Street will be shut for a month.
The westbound section of Station Hill will be closed between Station Road and Westgate from January 5 to February 5 to allow gas network upgrade work to take place.
Sections of York Road and West Bay Road at the junction with Station Hill will also be closed, with parking suspended on Abbey Road, Station Hill and a section of Station Road opposite the Abbey Court junction.
A signed diversion will be in place for the duration of the closure, utilising Abbey Road, Station Road and Dirleton Avenue. Temporary traffic signals will also be in operation which may cause delays during peak times.
