A YOUNGSTER has been charged with threatening and abusive behaviour in Dunbar.
Following reports of anti-social behaviour in the town’s Lochend Woods, Ashfield Park and the surrounding Hallhill areas, police have carried out dedicated patrols in the hotspots on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Complaints have been made to police about underage drinking, with officers revealing last week they had seized alcohol from a group of youths.
A police report sent to Dunbar Community Council said: “We have continued to make efforts to be highly visible in the area with the intention of detecting and disrupting those involved.
“Patrols in the area have led to alcohol seizures, as documented on social media channels.
“One youth was charged with threatening and abusive behaviour following an incident on Friday, November 6.”
