HARLAWHILL Day Care Centre in Prestonpans has been given a funding boost thanks to the generous members of a local Lodge.
Doogs Teviotdale, who is a member of Lodge Kajaki No.1848, presented the centre with a donation of £250.
The Lodge’s members meet in Tranent.
Harlawhill usually serves lunch to 16 of its members on a daily basis but it has been closed since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic back in March and is currently unable to provide this service.
The money will be used to take some of the members out to lunch at various local venues.
The donation was made possible through sponsorship of Doogs taking on a ‘dry week’, which saw him give up alcohol for a week.
