A 37-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with alleged road traffic offences following an accident involving a 12-year-old cyclist in East Lothian.
The boy was struck by a car on the the A6124 Carberry to Whitecraig Road last Friday.
It was alleged that the driver stopped initially following the incident but left before police arrived on the scene.
Police Scotland previously said that the boy did not receive any life-threatening injuries.
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
