A REPORT of youngsters on the roof of Haddington Rugby Club’s clubhouse has been passed to police.
The incident, which took place on July 4, was highlighted by police last week in a meeting with the town’s community council.
Officers went to Neilson Park and “although no persons were observed on the roof, a small group of youths was dispersed and their details noted”.
That comes after a report was made to police of youths gathering at the park’s pavilion and causing damage on June 19.
A spokesman for the police said: “Officers attended and the youths ran off upon police arrival. No damage to property was observed by officers.”
