A MISSING man who may have travelled to East Lothian has been found safe and well.

An appeal was launched at about 11.15am this morning (Thursday) to find Graeme Smith  who was reported missing from his home on Edinburgh's Albion Terrace at about 8.15pm yesterday (Wednesday).

Police thought the 49-year-old may have travelled to Dunbar.

At about 1.20pm police announced that Mr Smith had been traced safe and well.

A police spokesperson said: "Following our previous appeal, police can confirm that missing male Graeme Smith has been traced safe and well in the Dunbar area.

"We would like to thank the members of the public who assisted with our appeal."
