A PLAN has been lodged with East Lothian Council to turn the Barnardo’s charity shop in the Pinkie area of Musselburgh into a hot food takeaway.
The applicant, Pinkie Mains Development Ltd, which gave its address as the neighbouring Pinkie Farm Convenience Store at Moray Way, Pinkie Braes, has applied to change the use of the shop at Unit 1B Moray Way to a hot food restaurant/takeaway.
Architects, on behalf of the company, stated that the takeaway was likely to have a modest number of stools to allow food consumption on the premises, which would be open noon-11pm, seven days a week.
