A PORT Seton pensioner who assaulted a man in the town and breached an anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) has been warned about his future behaviour.
Thomas Hamilton, 80, was handed the ASBO at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last April and was told to refrain from using aggressive, abusive or intimidating language or causing distress to his neighbours near his home.
Hamilton then breached the order on August 2 last year when he shouted abusive comments at a neighbour during a disagreement over a parking bay.
The OAP also damaged a vehicle during the bust-up close to his home at Long Craigs.
He had admitted the offences at an earlier hearing at the city court and returned for sentencing last Friday.
Sheriff Alison Stirling heard that Hamilton had stayed out of trouble since he pleaded guilty last November and decided to admonish him on all charges.
