A GIFFORD motorist has been fined and had penalty points added to her driving licence after she admitted colliding with a vehicle and injuring the occupants.
Linsey Robertson, 42, drove without due care and attention and at excessive speeds on the B6355 Pencaitland to Tranent road two years ago.
Robertson lost control of the vehicle and crossed onto the opposite carriageway before striking an approaching vehicle.
Both occupants of the car struck by Robertson were injured in the January 26, 2018 collision.
Robertson, of Park Crescent, was at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last week, where she pleaded guilty to the offence.
Sheriff Adrian Cottam fined her £200 and placing three penalty points on her driver’s licence.
