A CAR had all four of its wheels stolen while it was parked outside the owner’s house.
The vehicle, a Nissan Micra, was parked outside a property on Carlaverock Terrace in Tranent.
The incident is said to have taken place overnight between last Thursday (January 30) and last Friday (January 31).
The owner’s neighbour went out of his property the following morning when he noticed the car's wheels were all missing.
Police confirmed they were investigating the incident.
A police spokesman said: "Officers are investigating the theft of four wheels and tyres from a Nissan Micra car in Tranent.
"Sometime overnight between Thursday and Friday, the four wheel and tyres were stolen while it was parked on Carlaverock Terrace in Tranent."
