A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD girl was struck by a car on a busy Musselburgh road.
The accident happened on Pinkie Road at about 6.30pm last Friday.
Police attended and the youngster was taken by ambulance to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh, where she is currently being treated for her injuries.
Hospital staff have described her condition as "very stable".
