A CLIFF-TOP search was carried out at the weekend in the bid to find a missing person.
Dunbar, North Berwick and Fisherrow Coastguard united in a shoreline and cliff-top search of the North Berwick area at 6pm on Saturday evening after police called for assistance.
After a short period of time, the good news came through that the missing person had been found safe and well elsewhere.
The coastguard stated: “If you see someone in difficulty or something you are concerned about on the shoreline, beaches, cliffs, mud or water, call 999 immediately and ask for the coastguard.”
