PRESTONPANS man Hugh Benn caused a disturbance at a local pharmacy by behaving aggressively towards staff.
Benn, of Preston Avenue, shouted and swore at employees of the Bankton Pharmacy at the town’s Hawthorn Road.
He also behaved aggressively towards the staff members while also going on to telephone the chemist and threaten staff. The 44-year-old admitted the offence which took place over three days last year when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Wednesday. He was fined £200.
Benn pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing at staff and then telephoning the shop and threatening staff at the Bankton Pharmacy, between July 30 and August 2 last year.
