A CALL has again been made for consideration to be given to double yellow lines being put down near a busy junction.
Parked vehicles regularly line Hopetoun Drive and Rab Moran, from the town’s community council, called for double yellow lines to be put down near the street’s junction with Hope Park.
Mr Moran repeated his plea for action to be taken to solve the problem at the group’s latest meeting.
He said: “I see somebody wrote into the Courier saying it was a tricky junction and I mentioned that as well.
“When you come round the corner it is like a brick wall if somebody is coming round to meet you.”
The community councillor stressed that Tustain Motors, which is based on the corner of Hopetoun Drive, was not to blame for the issue and it was simply a busy street.
Mr Moran’s concerns were echoed by fellow community councillor Jack Worden, who agreed something needed to be done at the junction.
