POLICE are hunting four youths who caused damage at a hotel after ‘swimming in’.
The youths entered the fenced-off outdoor jacuzzi area of the Macdonald Marine Hotel, which adjoins North Berwick West Links golf course, and swam under a gap into the indoor pool.
The males then left by smashing a glass pane of a window.
CCTV footage is being examined and enquiries are ongoing to identify the youths.
A spokeswoman for the hotel said: “We reported the incident to police and are working with them to assist the inquiry.”
Anyone with information about the incident, which took place during the night of May 21 and into the following day, should contact Police Scotland on 101.
