TRAIN services in East Lothian are returning to normal after severe disruption this morning.
No trains were running until nearly 1pm because of an object caught in overhead wires between Musselburgh and Wallyford.
Services are now returning to normal but ScotRail says there is likely to be minor disruption on the route until 2pm.
Three evening service between 9.43pm and 11.11pm have also been cancelled because of a shortage of train crew.
Today had been expected to be particularly busy on the train line due to Ladies Day at Musselburgh Racecourse.
