A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD schoolboy has suffered “minor injuries” after he was struck by a car in Prestonpans.
The youngster was hit by a black Vauxhall Astra as he used the pedestrian crossing on Mid Road, B1361, near to Jim Bush Drive, at about 5.10pm yesterday (Thursday).
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the collision and anyone who witnessed this and who has not yet spoken to the police are urged to contact us on 101, quoting incident number 3028 of May 23.”
