A MUSSELBURGH man has been ordered to pay East Lothian Council compensation after admitting damaging windows.
Brian Bonnar, of Stoneybank Terrace, smashed windows at a home at the town’s Moir Avenue in May.
Bonnar repeatedly struck out at the windows with his hands and a wooden beam, causing them to shatter.
The 27-year-old has now been ordered to pay the local authority £200 in compensation after he admitted the attack during a court hearing in Edinburgh.
Bonnar admitted to wilfully or recklessly damaging property by repeatedly striking windows at Moir Avenue, Musselburgh, on May 23.
