A MAN has been charged after reports of someone acting suspiciously in various gardens in the Tranent area.
Police have arrested and charged a man in connection with intent to commit theft.
Officers received five reports of a man acting suspiciously within gardens of premises between Friday, December 7, and Monday, December 17, within the Tranent area.
A 44-year-old man was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
