A MUSSELBURGH thief who stole items from a store in the town will be sentenced next month.
Christopher Storrie took a quantity of detergent from Poundland on High Street on March 15.
Storrie, of Ravensheugh Road, was facing four allegations of theft along with two co-accused but his plea of not guilty to three of the offences was accepted by the Crown.
Co-accused Jaclyn Reynolds, 44, and 39-year-old Gordon Grant, both of Musselburgh, had their not guilty pleas to all charges they faced accepted and the pair walked free from the dock at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last week.
Storrie, 38, will be sentenced on December 5.
