A LONGNIDDRY man who assaulted ambulance workers and policemen during an incident near his home has been fined.
David Henderson, of Churchway, obstructed ambulance technician John Rudyi and repeatedly struck him on the body with his hand.
Henderson also obstructed technician Gary Murdoch by repeatedly punching him to the body after the medical team had been called out on October 13 last year.
Henderson then struck PC John Lumsden on the body with his head.
The assailant was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, where he continued his behaviour and assaulted PC Ross Blair by kicking him to the body and striking the officer on the body with his head.
Henderson appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Monday, where he admitted the four charges.
Sheriff Frank Crowe issued 50-year-old Henderson with a £200 fine.
