EAST Lothian residents are being warned to expected torrential rain tomorrow (Saturday).
The Met Office has issued a yellow 'be aware' warning for East Lothian covering the whole of Saturday.
It says that heavy and persistent rainfall is expected throughout the day, with flooding possible.
There is also a chance of power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses, while delays or cancellations to train and bus services are possible.
Fast-flowing or deep floodwater is possible, causing a possible danger to life, the Met Office adds.
In East Lothian, rain is expected to start falling early this afternoon (Friday) and continue all the way through tonight, the whole of Saturday and into Sunday morning.
The heaviest rain is predicted to fall from about 9am to about 6pm on Saturday.
