A THIRD vehicle has overturned on the A1 this afternoon (Wednesday) but the county's busiest road remains open following the latest incident.
A lorry at Old Craighall has become the latest victim of Storm Ali (see picture below) following two incidents earlier today where a caravan overturned shortly before noon on the westbound carriageway at East Linton, forcing the closure of the road.

The section of the A1 that was closed at East Linton has since re-opened.
And at about 12.30pm, police confirmed that a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) had overturned on the eastbound carriageway, and that the driver of the HGV has a "very minor" injury.
ScotRail are advising people not to travel as weather conditions worsen.

Meanwhile, there are reports of fallen trees in several locations across the county.
Haddington's Dunbar Road and Pencaitland Main Street are both currently closed while teams from East Lothian Council remove fallen trees there, while similar incidents have been reported in the Lodge Grounds in North Berwick (pictured below), and Lindores Drive in Tranent.
And police are urging caution from motorists before they travel this evening.
Local residents have been taking to social media to share their pictures and videos.
