MEMBERS of the public are being urged to help find a missing man who has links with Musselburgh.

Ben Griffin was last seen at about 10am today (Friday) leaving a premises on Edinburgh's Lady Lawson Street.

He has not been in contact with anyone since then and concern is growing for his welfare.

The 29-year-old is white, about 5ft 9ins with short dark hair and stubble.

When last seen, he was wearing a light grey Superdry tracksuit and white trainers.

He speaks with an English accent.

Ben has links to Musselburgh and may have travelled there using public transport.

Sergeant Robert Richardson, from Gayfield Police Station, said: “We are eager to trace Ben’s current whereabouts and would ask anyone who can assist with our inquiries in tracing him to come forward.

“I would ask anyone in the city centre area who may have seen Ben since 10am this morning to get in touch with officers as soon as possible.

“Similarly, if Ben see’s this appeal, I’d ask that he contacts us to let us know that he is safe.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0954 of September 7.
