A ROAD that had been closed due to a burst water main has re-opened.
The burst main had earlier forced the closure of one of the busiest roads in and out of Haddington this lunchtime( Thursday).
The B6471 was closed at the junctions for Gateside and Alderston Road due.

It re-opened at about 3pm but Scottish Water are still on the scene.
A statement on their website reads: "We have located a burst water main on Gateside Road, which has resulted in water supplies to be off or at low pressure for some of our customers in the EH41 area.
"We know how difficult it is to have no water, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience this maybe causing.
"We’d like to reassure our customers that we’re doing everything we can to get the water supplies back on as soon as we can."
