PUPILS from Ross High School took part in their annual sponsored walk as they were sent on a hunt to solve a murder mystery.

The students braved the rain to raise more than £7,000 during the walk where they were challenged to discover ‘Who killed Gary the Jannie?”

Funds raised by the annual walk are ploughed back into the school to fund activities and support services through the year.

Paul Reynolds, headteacher, said: “I would really like to offer my massive thanks to the whole school community for their efforts.

“This money will allow our extra-curricular and school trips to be subsidised throughout the year.

“Ten per cent of this money will also go towards our support fund to help youngsters access many activities free of charge.”
