FORMER SCOTLAND striker Garry O'Connor has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged theft from Edinburgh department store Harvey Nichols.
The 33-year-old was questioned by police at his home in North Berwick following the alleged incident at the store on Friday.
O'Connor, who now manages Lowland League team Selkirk, played for Hibs, Barnsley and Lokomotiv Moscow during his career.
A police spokesman said: "Police Scotland have arrested and charged a 33-year-old man following a theft from a business premises in St Andrew Square on Friday, November 25.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
