SCOTRAIL has confirmed that a new Sunday morning service between Edinburgh and North Berwick is to start later this summer.
From Sunday, August 14, a train will leave Edinburgh at 09:33, arriving at North Berwick at 10:06.
In the opposite direction, a new service will depart North Berwick at 10:24, reaching Edinburgh at 10:59.
Services between Edinburgh and North Berwick/Dunbar will also be retimed by up to 15 minutes, with some trains leaving earlier than normal.
These are just a number of changes ScotRail has made to train times across the country.
A ScotRail Alliance spokeswoman said: “We’re delighted to introduce an earlier service to and from North Berwick, in response to customer feedback.
“Some departure times are changing on services between Edinburgh and North Berwick/Dunbar from August 8 to accommodate other trains on the East Coast Main Line, with some earlier departures.”
