Rutherford appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court
A HADDINGTON man has been jailed for 48 days after admitting assaulting his partner.
Lee Rutherford, 24, of Langriggs, admitted the attack on the woman when he repeatedly pushed and kicked her at High Street, Haddington, on April 16.
A not guilty plea to a second charge of kicking a bin and challenging others to fight with him at High Street, Haddington, was accepted at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Thursday.
The sentence was backdated to April 19.
