TWO Tornado jets were involved in a near miss with a drone, near Dunbar, earlier this year.
Details released in the latest UK Airprox Board report show two tornado pilots were flying to the west of the town, at about 1,500-feet, on January 21.
One pilot spotted the drone, which was estimated to be within 500-feet of the aircraft.
The drone operator could not be traced and one of the pilots assessed the risk of collision as “low”.
