GREENTRAX founder Ian Green and his wife June celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary with a special party thrown at the John Bellany Day Centre.

Ian, who set up the recording company 30 years ago with the support of June, who is a director of Greentrax, marked the occasion in style with a celebration of the couple's partnership and surrounded by family and friends.

Former police officer Ian set up Greentrax after retiring from the force in 1986.

He and June worked together to set up the business in the early years before it became too much work for the couple.

As the work continued to increase and album released sped up the Greens sold their Edinburgh home and moved to Cockenzie where they were able to set up business premises.

Ian said: "For the first seven years I did everything myself, with June’s help, and with the business beginning to take over the house, it was becoming too much, I took on staff."
