There was a disappointing finale to to Australian Master of the Amateurs as county star Grant Forrest finished tied 20th.
Forrest, of Craigielaw Golf Club, looked to be in good form after the first two days in Melbourne, two shots off the lead at one-over-par.
However a disappointing three-over third round effectively ended his chances of lifting the trophy, and the North Berwick ace was disappointed finished with a two-over 74, which included a double-bogey six at the eighth.
Forrest said: "Didn't quite happen out there but lots of good stuff to build on for next week's Australian Amateur."
He then carded a one-under 71 to sit tied 18th after the opening day of the Australian Amateur Championships.
