MUSSELBURGH Athletic face a second East Lothian derby in as many weeks as all six of East Lothian’s senior football teams play this afternoon.
The Honest Toun team host Haddington Athletic at Olivebank Arena.
Elsewhere in the top flight of the East of Scotland Football League (EoSFL), Dunbar United welcome Penicuik Athletic.
Preston Athletic are also at home as they look to get back to winning ways against Arniston Rangers in the First Division.
Ormiston Primrose travel to the Scottish Borders looking for three points against Hawick Royal Albert in the Third Division.
Finally, Tranent aim for three points at home to East Stirlingshire in the Scottish Lowland Football League (SLFL).
Match of the Day
Musselburgh Athletic v Haddington Athletic
East of Scotland Football League Premier Division
Kick-off 2.30pm
FOURTH plays fifth at the top of the Premier Division this afternoon (Saturday).
Musselburgh have played a game fewer than many of the teams around them and will look to get back to winning ways after slipping up against Dunipace in the last league encounter.
Thirteen goals in four games suggests goals should not be a problem.
Meanwhile, Haddington sit behind their county rivals on goal difference only.
They won their opening three league games but have gone down to defeats to Jeanfield Swifts and Sauchie.
Tranent v East Stirlingshire
Scottish Lowland Football League
Kick-off 3pm
DEFEAT to Albion Rovers last time out saw Tranent slip into the bottom half of the SLFL.
Too many points were dropped at home last season and the club will be keen to reverse that trend this afternoon.
East Stirlingshire visit Foresters Park on the lookout for their first three points of the season.
If Tranent are to push towards the top of the table, it is surely a game they are looking to win.
Dunbar United v Penicuik
East of Scotland Football League Premier Division
Kick-off 2.30pm
A CONFIDENCE-BOOSTING win over West Calder United will hopefully help as Dunbar look for their first three points of the campaign.
They host a Penicuik side who are off the top spot on goal difference only.
Dunbar have lost two of their four league games but each has only been by the odd goal.
Kevin Haynes and his side will be hoping luck is on their side at New Countess Park.
Preston Athletic v Arniston Rangers
East of Scotland Football League First Division
Kick-off 2.30pm
LAST season’s bogey side Arniston Rangers visit the Pennypit on the lookout for three points.
The Gorebridge men won four meetings against Preston in three competitions last season.
Now, Preston are looking to get back to winning ways after a couple of disappointing results.
Again, the way the table looks at this early stage of the season, three points could see Preston launched up the table.
Hawick Royal Albert v Ormiston Primrose
East of Scotland Football League Third Division
Kick-off 2.30pm
CUP distractions out of the way, Ormiston Primrose travel to the Borders looking to make it a hat-trick of league wins.
Guy Kerr’s new look side will face a tough task when they face a Hawick Royal Albert outfit sitting in the promotion places.
An away win would put down a real marker as Ormiston aim for an immediate return to the Second Division.
