Dunbar United host Glenrothes in the First Division while Tranent Juniors welcome East Kilbride in the Lowland League Cup.

Match of the Day

Dunbar United v Glenrothes

East of Scotland Football League First Division

Dunbar United last five games: DDWWL

FIRST welcomes second at the top of the East of Scotland Football League (EoSFL) First Division.

Dunbar United lead Glenrothes by a single point at the top of the table.

The Fife side won the reverse fixture and have the benefit of a game in hand.

Victory would leave the Seasiders four points clear of their rivals and the title bid would be firmly in Dunbar’s hands.

Both teams look assured of promotion but the result could go a long way to determining the destination of the league title.

Lowland League Cup Quarter-Finals

Tranent Juniors last five games: WLDLL

VICTORY is needed if Tranent are to continue their season and a bid to win silverware.

The county club finished one place and one point ahead of their rivals at the end of the league season.

All signs point to another tight encounter but Tranent will be boosted by a commanding 5-1 win over Civil Service Strollers in the last round.

The two sides met on the opening day of the campaign when East Kilbride won 3-2 before the spoils were shared at the end of the season.

Broxburn Athletic v Haddington Athletic

East of Scotland Football League Premier Division

Haddington Athletic last five games: LWDWW

IN A congested upper mid-table, three points would be a real boost to Haddington Athletic.

The Hi Hi lost out to Linlithgow Rose last weekend in a result which saw the West Lothian club crowned champions.

Sitting eighth, Scott Bonar’s men are only four points off of fourth spot and will be looking to finish as high up the table as possible.

Broxburn are one place adrift but seven points behind and will be out to secure a ninth place finish in the standings.

East Lothian Courier: Musselburgh face a trip to Dundonald BluebellMusselburgh face a trip to Dundonald Bluebell

Dundonald Bluebell v Musselburgh Athletic

East of Scotland Football League Premier Division

Musselburgh Athletic last five games: LWDWD

ONE point should be enough to secure Musselburgh Athletic third spot in the top flight of the EoSFL.

On paper, Liam Burns and his side have little to play for as they sit behind Sauchie Juniors and five points clear of Jeanfield Swifts in the table.

However, they will be looking to finish the campaign strongly against a side locked alongside Haddington in the table.

Dundonald Bluebell enjoyed a 2-1 victory at Olivebank at the end of October and will be out to do the double.

East Lothian Courier: Ormiston Primrose are looking for three points in their battle to avoid relegationOrmiston Primrose are looking for three points in their battle to avoid relegation

Newburgh Juniors v Ormiston Primrose

East of Scotland Football League Second Division

Ormiston Primrose last five games: WWLLL

BACK-TO-BACK wins have lifted Ormiston Primrose out of the relegation zone for the first time in many months.

A vital triumph over Hawick Royal Albert last weekend was followed by an impressive win at promotion-chasing Thornton Hibs.

They currently sit above Craigroyston only on goal difference and travel to a Newburgh side only one place better off.

A hat-trick of wins would be a massive statement in their bid to avoid the drop.
