ORMISTON Primrose would close to within three points of safety, if they can defeat Dalkeith Thistle this evening (Tuesday).
The New Recreation Park side have enjoyed a decent run of form since the turn of the year but need to turn draws into wins.
Just two league wins this campaign has left them in the relegation zone at the bottom of the East of Scotland Football League (EoSFL) Second Division.
However, they boast four games in hand over Craigroyston, who sit one place and six points above them in the standings.
The first game in hand kicks off at 6.30pm when Richie Weir’s men welcome Dalkeith Thistle.
The Midlothian side are pushing for promotion and sit four points adrift of Heriot Watt University, who occupy the last promotion spot.
In the reverse fixture in August, Dalkeith ran out comfortable 4-1 winners and Ormiston will need to be near their best to take anything from this encounter.
