DUNBAR United got back to winning ways on Saturday with a triumph over Luncarty.

The two sides had met last weekend in cup action where the Perth side emerged victorious.

However, the Seasiders got their title challenge back on track with a 3-0 win.

A first half header from Johnny Edmond gave Dunbar the lead and they doubled their advantage before the interval when Bob Berry nodded home.

The final goal came when Sean Stewart teed up James Redpath, who fired home.

Kevin Haynes and his team are again on their travels this weekend when they head to Kinnoull.

Elsewhere, there were victories for Hadidngton Athletic and Musselburgh Athletic while Tranent Juniors, Preston Athletic and Ormiston Primrose lost out.

In the Scottish Lowland Football League, Mikey Allan’s strike was all that separated Spartans and Tranent.

The Edinburgh club now have the promotion play-off to look forward to.

Tranent travel to East Kilbride this weekend looking to strengthen their grip on fifth spot in the table.

Meanwhile, Haddington Athletic edged a five-goal thriller away to Hill of Beath Hawthorn.

Gabri Auriemma opened the scoring before the break before Ethan Williams put the Hi Hi 2-0 up.

However, two late goals, one from former Haddington man Andy Jones, pulled the Fife side level.

There was time for one last twist though as Keir Russell headed home his first Haddington goal for a 3-2 win.

Haddington are again on their travels this weekend as they venture to Crossgates Primrose.

Musselburgh Athletic were also celebrating a win as they came from behind against Jeanfield Swifts.

David Greenhill levelled the scores before the break before a Nathan Evans double gave Musselburgh all three points.

Liam Burns and his side face another tough tie this weekend as they host champions-elect Linlithgow Rose.

Preston Athletic were also on their travels and took a first half lead at Rosyth through Jamie Devlin’s strike.

However, the game was turned on its head after the break as their rivals came back to win 2-1.

Paul Currie’s team are back at the Pennypit this weekend and welcome Camelon.

Finally, Arniston Rangers were 3-1 winners against Ormiston Primrose.

The Midlothian side were two goals up before Chris Hogg pulled one back with a stunning free-kick.

However, they restored their two-goal advantage in the second half to ensure the three points.

Ormiston host Dalkeith Thistle tomorrow (Tuesday) in a 6.30pm kick-off.
