THERE were contrasting fortunes for two East Lothian sides in the King Cup last night (Tuesday).
Dunbar United welcomed Fauldhouse United to New Countess Park and progressed to the third round.
Second half strikes from Cammy Dawson and Darren Handling were enough to give them victory over their West Lothian visitors.
However, Preston Athletic's cup journey was ended in Midlothian.
Whitehill Welfare, managed by former Preston boss Jack Lynch, were 2-0 victors.
Marc Malloy scored in either half to put his side through to the next round.
