There were wins for Preston Lodge, North Berwick and Ross High in this week's round of rugby fixtures.

Musselburgh suffered a painful home defeat at the hands of Glasgow Hawks who ran out 0-56 winners in the Tennent’s Premiership. The defeat is Musselburgh’s fifth league defeat in a row this season leaving them in tenth place in the division. Musselburgh next play at home to second placed Edinburgh Academical on Saturday.

Preston Lodge ran out 25-29 winners away to Cartha Queens Park in the Tennent’s National League Division 2. In a close fought encounter the county side edged the game to move up to second in the league table. Preston Lodge next play at home to Kirkcaldy on Saturday.

North Berwick were comfortable winners in the Tennent’s East Division One match against Forrester where they ran out 33-5 winners. The win is North Berwick's fourth consecutive bonus point win and keeps them top of the table as they remain unbeaten this season. North Berwick next face an away trip to fellow county side Haddington on Saturday.

Ross High also recorded a comfortable win in their home tie against Portobello where they ran out 55-10 winners which puts them in 4th place in the division with two wins from two games. Ross High will face Leith Rugby Club on Saturday.

Haddington didn't play this week, but face north Berwick on Saturday.

Dunbar’s game in the East League Division 2 did not go ahead due to Hawick Linden having insufficient players being available on the day. Dunbar will face Dalkeith away from home this Saturday.
