TRANENT Juniors and Syngenta face off against each other tonight (Wednesday) in the League Cup.

The two sides have a 100 per cent record in Group I after Tranent defeated Lochore Welfare on Friday and Syngenta defeated the same opposition earlier this month.

However, at least one of the teams will see that record go when the game kicks off at 7.30pm at Ochilview.

Tranent and Syngenta have already met twice in friendlies this campaign, with the sides sharing a 1-1 draw and Tranent scoring a late penalty to win 1-0.

The Belters sit third in the East of Scotland Football League (EoSFL) Premier Division, behind Penicuik Athletic and Linlithgow Rose.

Meanwhile, Syngenta sit fourth in First Division Conference X.

Camelon Juniors and Hawick Royal Albert United are also in the League Cup group with Tranent, Syngenta and Lochore Welfare.
