ALEX Marshall's bid for a seventh world indoor singles title has come to an end.
The Tranent bowler had reached the semi-finals of the World Indoor Bowls Championships in Norfolk.
After an impressive victory in the quarter-finals last night (Friday), Marshall was through to face Les Gillet.
In this afternoon's (Saturday) contest, it was Gillet who came out on top 2-0 (10-1, 8-4) to set up a final with Paul Foster.
The final is played tomorrow (Sunday).
