CUP action takes centre stage for East Lothian’s football teams today (Saturday).
Haddington Athletic, Ormiston, Preston Athletic and Tranent Juniors are all in action in the second round of the South Region Challenge Cup.
Arguably, the match of the day comes at Millfield where top of the table Haddington Athletic face promotion-chasing Leith Athletic.
Both sides will fancy their chances of winning First Division Conference A but it is cup glory that is on the agenda this afternoon.
Meanwhile, high-flying Preston Athletic will be looking to keep their impressive run going at home to Peebles Rovers.
Jack Lynch’s Pennypit outfit sit second in First Division Conference B – with a game in hand over league leaders Glenrothes – while Peebles sit in eighth spot.
The two clubs are yet to meet in the league this season.
Ormiston will be looking to end their goal drought when they host Hawick Royal Albert United.
The Borders side sit bottom of the First Division Conference B table, with a single win from their 13 games.
Finally, Tranent make the short journey to Newtongrange Star.
The two Premiership clubs shared a 2-2 draw at the beginning of the month and will be looking to progress.
Musselburgh Athletic and Dunbar United have already been knocked out of the competition and are not in action.
Each of the cup games kicks off at 2.30pm.
