MULTI-TIME world champion Alex Marshall begins his quest for more accolades tonight (Friday) in the World Indoor Bowls Championships.
The Tranent bowler will partner up with Paul Foster in an all-Scotland clash with James Rippey and Darren Weir.
The evening session at Potters Resort gets under way at 7.30pm.
If Marshall and Foster emerge victorious, they will be in action again in the quarter-finals on Sunday morning when they will take on either Simon Skelton and Michael Stepney or Scott Edwards and Andrew Walters.
Marshall and Rippey will meet again in the singles, with the first round taking place next Saturday (January 16).
