VETERAN Ian Horsburgh won the first New Year Sprint of the new decade as he triumphed at Musselburgh Racecourse yesterday (Wednesday).
The 41-year-old from Central AC held off Murray Blair and Stacey Downie to win the 151st running of the historic race.
Horsburgh's winning time was 11.81 seconds.
