MI JUNG Hur tops the leaderboard at the Ladies Scottish Open after a rain interrupted second round.

Play was suspended at The Renaissance Club yesterday (Friday) afternoon due to the poor weather.

A number of players are completing their second round this morning (Saturday) ahead of the third round, which will also be played today.

One woman who defied the conditions was Hur, who carded a stunning 62 to go two shots clear.

The round at the course near Dirleton featured nine birdies and an eagle.

In second spot is Moriya Jutanugarn, who is the sister of last year's winner Ariya Jutanugarn - who is also in the top 10.

Moriya is two shots behind the leader after a round of 66.

However, Catriona Matthew was among those who struggled in the tricky conditions.

She a carded a seven over par second round, which leaves her seven over par.

The projected cut sits at level par meaning Matthew along with fellow Scots Kelsey MacDonald, Gemma Dryburgh and Michele Thomson look set to miss out.
