MEGAN Kivlin has picked up a national bowls title after a dominant performance in Ayr.
The East Lothian Co-op bowler was successful in the Ladies Junior Singles competition at the Scottish National Championships at Ayr Northfield.
She came up against Rachel Sinclair, of Kingswood, in the final and came through 21-13.
However, her chances in the ladies singles were halted in the second round.
She took on Margaret Letham, of Burnbank Hamilton, and Kivlin was edged out 21-20.
East Lothian does retain an interest in the men's singles, with Gordon White, of Aberlady, also in action today.
Earlier this afternoon, he saw off Andy Furye, of Carnoustie WE, 21-9 to set up a quarter-final tie with William McKenzie, of Cumnock.
That match is due to get under way at 5pm.
