IT WAS a good weekend for the county's senior football clubs with four wins from six games, but Dunbar RFC were the only rugby club to record a victory.

All six county sides were in action in the same competition, with Ormiston edging a five-goal thriller 3-2 at home to Easthouses Lily.
A goal from Nathan Evans was enough to seal a 1-0 win for Musselburgh Athletic at Gala Fairydean Rovers, while Preston Athletic came through a long journey to beat Bonnyton 3-2.
Dunbar United joined the Hi Hi in being eliminated, Geoff Jones side were beaten 1-0 by Newtongrange Star at New Countess Park.
Meanwhile the county's rugby teams were all in league action, but only Ross High and Dunbar celebrated wins.
Musselburgh's 100 per cent start in National 1 came to an end as they were beaten 36-18 by recently-relegated Marr in Ayrshire; while PL fell to a 19-15 defeat at Peebles in National 2.
In National 3, Haddington's difficult start continued as they lost by a point (19-20) to Hillhead Jordanhill.
